Saturday 25th/ Sunday 26th March 2017 - Rock Solid Race, Exeter
The South West's largest mud and obstacle run. Taking place at Escot Park, Exeter you can join up to 6000 other mud runners tackling mud mounds, lush lakes, cargo nets, tunnels and more! Take part in the 5km, 10km or 20km runs which will take you to your limits as you conquer fear, work as a team and push through fatigue to earn your reward as a Rock Solid Race Champion. You'll be treated to a piping hot shower afterwards!
Our very own fundraising manager took part in 2014 & 2015 and said "It seriously pushes your fitness to the limit and is very challenging but when you are running for a cause you care about it spurs you on!"
April 2017 - Dawn Chasers
Comprising of 50km of hiking this challenge requires constant awareness of where you’re walking. Passing by Cut Hill, one of the remotest points in England and with only one ‘meet’ of the support vehicle at Princetown or Postbridge, you certainly feel ‘out there’… because you are. Heading out from the National Park boundary, just outside Belstone, our route winds its way across a variety of tough terrain - Military roads, rough exposed moorland, sheep paths and the remains of a disused granite railway. You finish at the Park boundary on the outskirts of Ivybridge, before heading off for breakfast at a local cafe
Hosted by experienced outdoor challenge providers 'The Outer Edge' you can be one of the first people to take on this brand new exciting challenge and raise money for Operation Henry!
