Trekfest 2017 is offered by our partners at Global Adventure Challenges and allows you the chance to take on a unique well organised challenge close to home while raising money to support pancreatic cancer patients and their families and is definitely the one we recommend to our supporters looking for an interesting first Treking Challenge!
As with all our challenges at least 50% of the money raised goes directly to the Trust so we can continue to support pancreatic cancer patients and their families.
Taking on TrekFest is by no means a walk in the park. It’s tough and will challenge you both physically and mentally, pushing you beyond your limits but with the right training and preparation it is achievable – as thousands of trekkers over the last four years will testify!
Trekfest takes place in the Brecon Beacons National Park on the 3rd-4th June and the Peak District National Park on 2nd-3rd September, and both locations offer a 25km and 50km walk (thats over 15 and 30 miles respectively!).
You pay a non-refundable registration fee of £45 pp on 25km/£60pp on 50km when you register direct to Global Adventure Challenges.
Then raise a minimum sponsorship of £165 pp on 25km /£300pp on 50km that comes directly to us.
We pay the challenge balance of £50pp on 25km /£90pp on 50km for you.
So by taking part you are raise a minimum of £115 on 25km and £210 on 50km to help us help pancreatic cancer patients, and any extra money you can raise goes directly to The Trust to help our beneficiaries and their families.
